BOTOX, Dysport, & Jeuveau are neurotoxins that can be injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe forehead lines, crow’s feet lines, and frown lines between the eyebrows in adults. They can be also also injected into the skin to treat the symptoms of severe underarm sweating (severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis) when medicines used on the skin (topical) do not work well enough. Results are generally seen anywhere from 2 to 7 days after injection and can last up to 4 months. With regular reapplication, the results can last longer, especially if treatments are done before the muscles are allowed to return to full strength.
